Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) affects millions worldwide, often due to H. pylori infection or prolonged NSAID use. This course comprehensively reviews the pathophysiology, symptoms, and diagnosis of gastric and duodenal ulcers. It covers pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatment approaches, focusing on evidence-based pharmacotherapy.
Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the mechanisms of action, indications, and potential adverse effects of key medications, including:
